Imagine the box of plastic toys you probably had as a kid. There’s a horse, an Indian, a cowboy, some cows and pigs, and maybe a policeman. They’re all those molded playthings that balance on the green platforms, you remember those, right?
Now imagine giving that box of plastic toys, a camera, a government film grant and some (sadly) illegal hallucinogens to a couple of Belgian filmmakers who have a penchant for creating bizarre stop-motion animation.
The result is A Town Called Panic.
